ASB Participant, Kaylee Bell, recounted her ASB experience with a good friend of hers in the NatSci Fall 2021 Newsletter. She spent her Spring Break of 2020 volunteering at a children’s hospital with the rest of her ASB group.
“The Don Ausman Alternative Break Endowment”
Don, an MSU alumni, participated in the Alternative Spartan Breaks program. He spent his time building wheelchair ramps and tidying up the yards of an elderly nursing home. He passed away in 2009 at the age of 22. May he rest in peace.
