Impression 5 Science Center is a interactive space for families to play, create, and challenge their understanding of science together. Impression 5 is one of the first hands-on science centers in the country! Impression 5's encourages visitors to explore their world and make meaningful connections to science using all five senses.

Cristo Rey Community Center

Cristo Rey Community Center is an organization serving the vulnerable populations within their community with an emphasis on access to medical care, mental health services, food, and financial counseling. Cristo Rey envisions to break the cycle of poverty and advocate for self-sufficiency by offering critical services to our community. All CRCC services are critical resources for basic-need fulfillment in addition to being a resource/referral source for other onsite safety-net programs.

Ele's Place

Ele's Place is a healing center for grieving children and teens.  Four branch locations support families throughout the Ann Arbor, Grand Rapids, Flint and Lansing areas and beyond.  Each week, peer support group programs help hundreds of children, ages 3-18, learn how to cope and begin to heal after the death of a parent, sibling or other loved one.

The Davies Project

The Davies Project offers free, round-trip rides to medical appointments for children facing serious health challenges. Sexual Assault Crisis Intervention

Sexual Assault Crisis Intervention (SACI) is a registered student organization comprised of Undergraduate and Graduate student volunteers who are active in the movement against gendered violence. SACI members  are trained to provide advocacy to survivors of sexual violence. Members can be trained to help staff a24-hour crisis line, medical advocacy, and peer educators. The group works with the MSU Counseling Center Sexual Assault Program to provide support, empathy, and information to survivors of gendered violence. SACI delivers assistance to those who have been traumatized by sexual assault and coordinates programs that focus on awareness and prevention.

Greater Lansing Food Bank

Greater Lansing Food Bank (GLFB) is an organization that provides emergency food to individuals and families in need in Ingham, Eaton, Clinton, Shiawassee, Clare, Isabella and Gratiot counties. Food is distributed through an extensive network of food pantries and community kitchens located throughout the region. The Food Bank annually serves tens of thousands of people, many of them seniors and children. Their recipients also include the “working poor,” those individuals who are employed but don’t earn enough to meet housing, health, transportation and food needs.

House of Promise

The House of Promise is an origination that provides survivors of sex abuse and sex trafficking unconditional love, acceptance, and a place to heal. Their goal is to disrupt the destructive patterns of slavery through education and care for the survivors. They do this through training, counseling, and helping the young girls/women relearn basic skills, so that they can rebuild their lives and reintegrate into society.

Michigan State University Safe Place

MSU Safe Place is a program that addresses relationship violence and stalking. We are located on the campus of Michigan State University and serve students, faculty, staff, their spouses/partners and non-affiliated members in the Greater Lansing Area.They provide advocacy, emergency shelter, counseling, support groups, safety planning, information and referrals to survivors of violence and their minor children. All support services are free and confidential.

Hannah's House

Hannah’s House is a Christian, extended care shelter  that provides pregnant women with housing, supportive programs, and spiritual guidance during the pregnancy and up to six months after the baby is born. Hannah’s House is open to all pregnant, adult, women ages 18 or older in need, regardless of race, religious beliefs, or financial status. They provide women with a safe, comfortable home where they can gain the spiritual, physical, and emotional strength to parent their child and work toward self-sufficiency or make an adoption plan. Each mother is mentored during her stay at Hannah’s House, and many seek mentoring after they leave our shelter and continue to receive baby clothes, diapers, emergency food, and ongoing emotional, material, and spiritual care. They also serve the community through our outreach program called, “Hannah’s Attic”, which provides maternity and baby clothes, diapers, and other items needed by families with small children.

Loaves and Fishes Ministries

Loaves and Fishes Ministries provides emergency short-term housing, advocacy and support services for homeless men, women and children, and long-term transitional housing, advocacy and support services for mothers with children and individual men in a caring Christian environment.  Our purpose is to serve, not convert, respecting each person’s spiritual path, different though that may be from ours.
